“The Game” on KMAN gets you set for the men’s Big 12 basketball tournament in Kansas City that will begin on Wednesday night with first round games and quarterfinal games on Thursday. How much will a win over Iowa State in the Big 12 tourney help the Cats in the NCAA tourney? Can the Jayhawks win a National Title without Joel Embiid? The search is on to replace K-State women’s basketball coach Deb Patterson who was relieved of her duties on Sunday. Big week in college basketball as all the conference tournaments are getting underway with selection Sunday less than a week away. The high school basketball tournaments in Kansas begin on Wednesday including Manhattan High as they open up the 6A tourney with Shawnee Mission West. Brent Maycock from the Topeka Capital Journal will join the show to talk high school hoops. Mitch Holthus, voice of the Chiefs, will join the show to talk some hoops as well as football.
