A pair of Lee’s Summit West (MO) High School teammates have committed to play football at K-State, according to Rivals.com. Four-star linebacker Nick Ramirez originally gave Missouri his verbal, but decommitted to the Tigers last month. He is the #3 player in the state of Missouri and the #12 inside linebacker nationally according to the Rivals’ rankings. The six foot, one inch, 228-pound Ramirez picked K-State over offers from Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Colorado, Northwestern and Purdue.
Strongside defensive end Jamone Boyd also gave K-State his commitment to play for the Wildcats in the class of 2013. He announced his decision on Friday afternoon on his Twitter feed. The six foot, four inch, 245-pound Boyd once was a four-star prospect, but recently was dropped to a three star Rivals rating. He chose K-State over offers from Arkansas, Tennessee, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas and Washington State.
