Two people are hospitalized following a shooting in Junction City early Friday morning.
Junction City Police were dispatched to the area of 1450 North Calhoun Street, in reference to shots being fired. As the units arrived on the scene a subject identified as 25 year old Michael Washington, of Junction City arrived at the Geary Community Hospital emergency room suffering from two gunshot injuries. It was learned that Washington was involved in the incident at 1450 North Calhoun Street.
Upon arrival at the scene, a second subject suffering from a gunshot injury was located. That person is identified as 25 year old Lemar Davis, of Junction City, was transported to the Geary Community Hospital emergency room by ambulance.
Both Washington and Davis were transferred to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, in serious condition for further medical treatment. This case is still under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
