Zack Fischer of Wake Village, Texas walked away with $10,600 on Saturday night by claiming the Colbert Charity Classic. Fischer shot a final round two-under par 70 and finished at six-under par for the tournament to earn a two shot victory over Christopher Brown of Dallas, Texas.
Third round leader Case Cochran sat at 11-under-par on Friday, but had a finish he’d like to forget. Cochran shot an eight-over par 80 on Saturday to finish three shots back.
Former K-State golfer Kyle Smell was among the golfers who ended up three shots back at three-under for the tournament. Fellow Wildcat Curtis Yonke tied for 14th place at four-over par. Mitch Gregson tied for 18th at five-over par, and Joe Ida tied for 25th at 14-over par.
