A Federal charge was filed Thursday in a Manhattan bank robbery.
According to U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom’s office, Ronald David Brown, Jr. (39), who is in custody at CCA’s Leavenworth Detention Center, was charged with one count of bank robbery. The indictment alleges that on Nov. 27th of last year, Brown robbed the Kansas State Bank at 1101 Bluemont Avenue in Manhattan.
If convicted, Brown faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000. The Lenexa Police Department, the Riley County Police Department and the FBI conducted the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mike Warner is prosecuting.
