stock_police_tapeA Manhattan man faces a large bond after being arrested on a warrant.
Around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Joshua Chamberlin (25) was arrested on a warrant issued by the Riley County District Court.
This warrant stems from several incidents that occurred between December of last year through April of this year.
The warrant finds that probable cause exists that Chamberlin committed six counts of criminal damage to property, five counts of burglary, six counts of theft and one count of criminal trespass.
Chamberlin’s bond was set at $20,000.
On Tuesday morning, Riley County Police arrested a Junction City man for three outstanding warrants.
Marcus Bates (26) was placed under arrest for three warrants issued by the Geary County District Court.
The 1st warrant states that a judge finds probable cause that Bates committed two counts of criminal threat and two counts of battery.  The 2nd warrant is on a failure to appear charge. The last warrant states that a judge finds probable cause to believe that Bates committed four counts of giving a worthless check.
His total bond is set at over $6,500.
Bates also faces charge in Riley County District Court, as he was recently sentenced for a possession of methamphetamine charge.
Riley County Police are currently looking for a Leonardville man.
Around 1 o’clock Wednesday morning, officers stopped Cody Jones (18) for a traffic infraction.
While stopped, Jones exited the vehicle and fled the area on foot.  Jones has yet to be apprehended, and a report of interference with law enforcement was filed.
A Manhattan woman was arrested while trying to pick up a prescription for a man.
Riley County Police officers responded to 401 Houston Street at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, for a report that Domenica Parillo (31) was attempting to get a prescription filled for Jason Leonard.
Officers noted that Jason Leonard left while on work release from the Riley County Jail a few days prior.
Parillo was arrested for obstructing apprehension as well as possession of a controlled substance.  Her bond was set at $6,000
A report of lewd and lacivious behavior was filed after an incident at Walmart on Tuesday.
Riley County Police officers responded to Walmart, at 101 East Bluemont at around 4 p.m., for a report of an unknown white male exposing himself to customers while inside the business.  Prior to officer arrival, the white male suspect had left the area.
The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
A Manhattan woman is behind bars after being arrested Tuesday afternoon.
Crystal Lynch (35) was arrested by Riley County Police for a failure to appear warrant issued by the Riley County District Court.  This stems from a previous charge of possession of oxycodone from earlier this month.
Her bond was set at $20,000.
