Riley County Law Enforcement CenterOver the weekend the Riley County Police Department arrested several individuals for battery.

Bryan Roman-Castro, 19, Mauro Roman, 18, and Manuel Rojas-Castro, 20, all of Junction City, were arrested early Sunday for a reported fight inside of a bar on the 3000 block of Anderson Avenue.

Roman-Castro and Roman were held and released on a $1,000 bond while Castro was held and later released on a $6,500 bond which also included a DUI offense.


Riley County police talked to reporters Monday about an aggravated battery that occurred this weekend.

A 71-year-old female was working in her yard at the 400 block of Westview Street when a gray van with several people inside slowed down and shot a pellet-like object at her.

The woman reported minor injuries to her upper leg, but was not admitted to the hospital.

This case is still under investigation.


A Riley County warrant sends one man to jail Sunday afternoon.

Gabriel Burch, 20, of Ogden was arrested after being served with a warrant for intimidation of a witness or victim and probation violations.

Burch was released from jail after paying his $16,500 bond.
