A 43-year-old Kansas Department of Corrections inmate who has been serving time for second degree murder in a Riley County case since 1990 is due for a public comment session and possible parole.
John Moss was sentenced in July of 1990 and is currently at the Hutchinson central correctional facility.
Public comment sessions are set for Moss’ case and several others May seventh at the Finney State Office Building in Wichita, May 12th at Kansas City’s City Hall, and May 16th at the Municipal Court House in Topeka. Comments may also be sent to the Kansas Department of Corrections office in Topeka.
Moss’ parole hearing will be during June, with the earliest possible release date in July.
