Rough weather for the Manhattan/Junction City area Thursday evening

Still not much damage to report from Thursday night’s weather activity, although Riley County Emergency Management Coordinator Laurie Harrison indicates a
street sign and tree on Anderson Avenue in the 10,000 block came out of the ground , with water also reported across the 700 block of Marlatt Avenue Thursday night. That road was open Friday.

While no damage reports have come in yet from Thursday evening’s storm which included a tornado warning, KMAN had a chance to have an early Friday morning visit with Meteorologist Bill Gargan with the National Weather Service in Topeka:
