A six-game winning streak was put on hold for an off day, as the Royals return to the field on Tuesday night against the Twins at Target Field. In the opener of a three-game series, KC will have arguably their best pitcher over the last month, Ervin Santana, on the hill. He’s 6-6 on the year, but has won three of his last four decisions and has only failed to pitch six innings once in his 20 starts this season. Santana will be opposed by Minnesota’s Mike Pelfrey.
First pitch for the Royals and Twins will be at 7:10pm on Tuesday night in Minneapolis, and pregame starts at 6:30 on SportsRadio 1350 from the Royals Radio Network.
