Weber Adds First ’14 Recruit

K-State head coach Bruce Weber has his first commitment for the 2014 recruiting class in the form of JUCO big man Stephen Hurt. Hurt is a 6-10, 285 pound power forward from Northwest Florida State College who chose K-State over Wichita State and Miami. Hurt tweeted the news from his twitter account yesterday.

Hurt started his college career at Lipscomb, but decided to leave after his head coach, Scott Sanderson, resigned. He averaged 11.5 points and 7.8 rebounds per game last season and was named the Atlantic Sun Conference freshman of the year.
