<p data-start="229" data-end="366">Tayvon Nalijiah Agnew Nash, 26, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 9:30 a.m. June 25 at the Riley County Law Enforcement Center.</p>
<p data-start="368" data-end="502">Nash was wanted on a warrant charging him with six counts of violating the Kansas Offender Registration Act and two counts of perjury.</p>
<p data-start="504" data-end="615" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">He was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.</p>

<p>Lashenna Renitia Dye, 36, was arrested at 4:10 p.m. at 1300 Marlatt Ave #805, for human trafficking by causing or threatening to cause physical injury. She is held in jail on a $200,000 bond.</p>

<p>Police said the victim involved is a 25-year-old woman. Dye’s arrest stems from a report filed in May.</p>

<p>A charging document filed in Riley County District Court describes Dye’s charge as taking place between September and March, and details that she trafficked the woman for involuntary servitude or forced labor through the use of force, fraud or coercion.</p>
<p>A Riley County Police spokesman said it remains an ongoing investigation.</p>

<p>Director of business operations Development Andy Hutchinson said district staff members are moving from preliminary revenue projections to detailed expenditure planning for 2026-27 ahead of budget adoption later this summer.</p>

<p>One issue facing the district is a deficit in the special education fund that the district must address before the close of the current fiscal year.</p>

<p data-start="340" data-end="586">A 36-year-old man was listed as the victim after it was reported he electronically sent $1,000 to an unknown suspect who claimed to be a police officer. The scammer allegedly told the victim payment was required because of an outstanding warrant.</p>
<p data-start="650" data-end="855" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node=""><a href="https://www.rileycountypolice.org/287/Crime-Stoppers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Anyone with information is asked to contact the Riley County Police Department or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. <p>Ben Hart of Baker Tilly, the city&#8217;s financial adviser, told commissioners Tuesday the increase would lower the city&#8217;s revenue-neutral mill levy from 54.506 mills to 51.056 mills if the city chose to keep property tax revenues at the same level as last year.</p>

<p>Brian Johnson said after finishing the initial pass for large debris, workers will now collect remaining, smaller debris over the following five to seven days.</p>
<p>“That first pass was really the big brush and tree piles that were blocking sidewalks and streets and those kind of things,” he said. “So we didn’t pick up all the little stuff on the first pass. The first pass was really stuff that was serious and was blocking access.”</p>

<p data-start="249" data-end="365">Pamela May Hall, 21, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 2:45 a.m. June 20 in the 1100 block of Moro Street.</p>
<p data-start="367" data-end="570">Hall was wanted on three Riley County District Court warrants, including two for probation violations and one for failure to appear. She was also arrested for interference with a law enforcement officer.</p>
<p data-start="572" data-end="709">The warrants stem from original charges that include criminal threat, interference with a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct.</p>
<p data-start="711" data-end="824" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">Hall was issued a total bond of $20,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.</p>
