A 19-year-old Manhattan man was arrested Thursday on multiple warrants and additional allegations of interfering with law enforcement.

Cedric DeSean Swinson was arrested at about 12:03 p.m. in the 3500 block of Rocky Ford Avenue on Riley County District Court and Manhattan Municipal Court warrants for failure to appear. The warrants stemmed from original charges of disorderly conduct and diversion violations.

Swinson was also arrested on two counts of battery and one count of disorderly conduct stemming from a case originally filed in May.

During the arrest, Riley County Police filed an additional report and arrested Swinson on two counts of interference with a law enforcement officer, including allegedly resisting or obstructing misdemeanor warrant service and fleeing on foot in a misdemeanor case.

Swinson was issued a total bond of $24,000 and was no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
