    Shooting near Aggieville Sunday morning, victim hospitalized

    Riley County Police reported that a 35-year-old woman has been hospitalized following a shooting in Aggieville.

    RCPD officers responded to multiple gunshots in the 1100 block of Laramie Street shortly before 2 a.m. on Sunday morning. Officers discovered a 35 year old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her back.  Her injuries are not life-threatening.

    The woman was transported to Via Christi for her injuries. No arrests have been made, RCPD is investigating at this time.

    Anyone with information can reach out to Crime Stoppers for a potential reward up to $1,000.
