A Manhattan woman was killed in a car accident last night on Highway 24.
At approximately 11 p.m. on Friday, Shelly Moore, 50, lost control of her vehicle for unknown reasons at mile marker 305, left the road, struck an embankment and flipped her Honda CRV. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the incident.
Moore leaves behind children who were notified of her accident early this morning.
