“There simply is nothing better than ending a fiscal year on a high note”–those are the words of Manhattan Finance Director Bernie Hayen regarding sales tax numbers released Wednesday afternoon.
$931,578 was collected in December compared to $863,570 the same time in 2014. That brings the year to date totals to just under 11 million dollars at $10,993,385–compared to $10,723,686 dollars the year before. It also means a positive budget impact of $75,822 for December and $392,367 for the year to date.
