A Junction City teenager was injured in a Wabaunsee county accident on I-70 Wednesday evening. Justice Rexrode, 19, was westbound in a 2011 Chevy Tahoe a little more than a half mile west of K-99 when the vehicle went off the roadway to the right, Rexrode overcorrected, and the vehicle went across the highway to the left, overturning in the median.
Rexrode was taken to Geary Community Hospital. He was wearing a seatbelt.
The accident was reported at 5:10 p.m.
