KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) A 69-year-old pedestrian has died after stepping into traffic in Kansas City, Kan.
The Kansas City Star reported that the man was struck around 3:30 p.m. Monday. He then was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The man’s family told authorities he had Alzheimer’s and had wandered away from home earlier in the day.
The man’s name wasn’t immediately released.
