Manhattan Woman Appointed by Governor

linda weisKansas Governor, Sam Brownback announced Tuesday his recent appointments to boards and commissions, one of which is from Manhattan.
Linda Weis has been appointed to serve a four year term on the Kansas Supreme Court Nominating Commission, to fulfill the unexpired term of Don Dahl.  Weis earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Kansas and her master’s degree at the University of Denver.
She currently works as the supervising broker and owner of an independently owned real estate company in Manhattan.
She also has served on the Governor’s Military Council and the Kansas Arts Industries Commission. She will continue to work with the Kansas Arts Foundation.
