The Manhattan Fire Department responded to a fire Tuesday evening at 508 Stone Pointe Drive.
Shortly after 5 pm, MFD Firefighters arrived on scene and found a single story duplex with smoke showing from the garage. Crews were able to get the fire under control within 10 mins. A total of 19 firefighters responded on 5 fire apparatus with the last units clearing at 7 pm.
The loss is estimated at $7,000 to contents, including damage to a 1999 Toyota Celica parked in the garage, and $20,000 to the structure.
Nobody was injured in the blaze and the Manahattan Fire Department determined the cause accidental.
