Pottawatomie County Attorney Sherri Schuck has filed for re-election. County Clerk Nancy McCarter indicates the incumbent filed Monday for the position. Schuck has been with the Pottawatomie County Attorney’s office since 2002 and had worked with the Riley County Police Department prior to that.
Schuck told KMAN Tuesday morning that her personal ties to the county compelled her to run again. She told KMAN Tuesday she’s running again because it’s the job she’s always wanted to do and because she has the experience the job calls for.
Schuck adds recent and upcoming cases are too important for her to ignore.
