RCPD filed a report for the offense of motor vehicle theft in the 2300 block of Stagg Hill Road in Manhattan yesterday. Officers were told that Enterprise had become the victim of theft when a 2016 Chevy Cruze was not returned or paid for by a customer. At the time of this report, officers were investigating this loss of approximately $20,516. No arrests had been made at the time of this report.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on the offense of probation violation yesterday.  Leonard Green Jr., of Coffeyville, was charged with the violation which was listed on a warrant from Montgomery County. This warrant had “no bond” listed on it and at the time of this report, he was confined at the Riley County Jail.

The Kansas State University Police Department arrested a 20-year-old man early this morning.  Dustin Galichia, of Manhattan, was charged with aggravated battery.  Bond was set at $5,000.

Reports of clown attacks nationwide and even in Canada have been concerning and K-MAN’s had some reports of clowns in the listening area. Riley County Police Public Information officer Mat Droge tells K-MAN nothing criminal has been associated with these pranks as far as RCPD has been made aware. He adds social media has fueled fire for rumors. Droge says RCPD has received three calls and didn’t find anything against the law.
