Officers with the Riley County Police Department are investigating a report of rape and aggravated criminal sodomy which occurred in the south eastern portion of Manhattan. Officers met with a 19-year-old female victim who is said to have been forced to have sexual intercourse with a 19-year-old male suspect who is known to her.
Officers continue to investigate the matter and at the time of this report no arrests had been made. Due to the nature of this investigation no further information has been released.
This incident was reported as happening in the overnight hours of Sunday.
