Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on March 6, 2018. Officers listed a 13 year old female as the victim and a known 15 year old male as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported no additional information will be released.
Edward Cavenee, 33, of Manhattan was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on March 6, 2018 at approximately 11:40 AM. Cavenee was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Cavenee was issued a total bond of $10,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
