The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office and the St. George Police Department continue to investigate vehicle burglaries in the St.George area. These burglaries have occurred over the past several months, with the most recent reported overnight between last Friday and Saturday (March 4th and March 5th).
At least 2 vehicles were entered without permission in the 12,000 block of Hillside Drive in rural St.George. The loss is reported to be under $10 at this time. The suspect in this matter reportedly walked to several cars and appears to have entered those that weren’t locked.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance with the vehicle burglaries. Those with information on these or other crimes are asked to contact the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office at 457-3353. The Sheriff’s Office also recommends removing any valuables and cash from your vehicle and keep your vehicle locked at all times.
