At approximately 10:15 p.m. Thursday, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 24, near the intersection of Deer Haven Lane. Sheriff Deputies and Emergency services responded and discovered a one vehicle roll-over accident. The vehicle a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer was travelling West bound on Highway 24 when it left the roadway on the North side of the road then rolled. The driver, 40 year old Pamela A. Parker of Wamego KS was ejected from the vehicle. She was later pronounced dead at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
