KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) Kansas City, Kan., police say a man died early Thursday after crashing his car into a building while fleeing from police.
Police say the chase began when they tried to stop a man who was speeding.
When the driver, who was in his 20s, swerved to miss stop sticks, he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a building. The driver was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The man’s identity was not released.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash remains under investigation.
