    1.) A 26-year-old man was arrested for Failure to Appear in Riley County.  Ryan Bohanan of Goddard, Kan.  was picked up in Segwick County for Failure to Appear in Riley County District Court. Bohanan’s bond was set at $10,000.

    2.)Between 6 p.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jacob Haverkamp of Manhattan reported to the RCPD that his white, Honda CBR, had been kicked over. In that same time frame, in the 1100 block of Moro, Kendall Johnson, 51,  of  Wichita, Kan. reported damage to his 2007 Jeep Liberty.

    Both vehicles had a reported damage of $1,000 each.

    3.) Riley County police worked an injury accident over the weekend, which resulted in a Manhattan woman being life-flighted to Topeka. The accident was reported a little after nine Saturday night, with a call from a citizen that a woman was intoxicated and walking in the street around the 900 block of Tuttle Creek Boulevard.  At 9:17 p.m.,  RCPD then received a call that a vehicle/pedestrian accident had occurred at the same location.

    Heath Kraft, 37, struck Tawnia Koelliker, 42,  in his 2001 Chevy Blazer. Koelliker reportedly walked in front of Kraft’s vehicle and was struck.

    Koelliker was life-flighted to Stormont-Vail in Topeka with head, abdominal, and pelvic pain. She is listed in satisfactory condition.

    4.) Two more salesmen have been arrested because of failure to have a permit while soliciting. Around 5 p.m. on Saturday,  Nicholas Scott, 19, of Harrah, Okla., was reported to Riley County police department as selling magazines door to door. When RCPD arrived on the scene Scott did not have a permit and was arrested on the charge of soliciting without a permit.

    Then on Sunday,  Christopher Shelby, 24,  of Midwest City, Okla., was also reported as selling magazines door to door in Ogden. Units responded and discovered Shelby also did not have a permit and was cited with soliciting sales without proper licensing.

    Both men are working for Midwest Circulation L.L.C..

    Scott’s bond was set at $128. Shelby’s bond was set at $500.

    5.) A man is still confined after having a wild ride last Thursday night. Riley County police reported Monday morning that Alex Scott of Manhattan was arrested Thursday night on the charges of driving while intoxicated, damage to property, aggrevated battery, and two counts of leaving the scene.

    Scott allegedly hit a RCPD car and injured an officer. The officer was released and the injuries were non-life threatening.

    Scott’s bond was set by Riley County District Courty at $5,000.
