1.) A quick decision not only landed a Wabunsee man in a ditch, but also in a hospital soon after.

Around 5:15 A.M. Tuesday morning, 19 year old Eric Lowery was traveling westbound on the 4800 Zeandale Road. When Lowery started heading off the road slightly to the right, he over corrected and rolled the vehicle. The Grand Pontiac Prix finally came to a stop on the driver’s side in a ditch.

Lowery was quickly transported to Mercy Regional Health where he is still being treated for leg, chest and lower back pain. He also faces a fine for no proof of insurance.

2.)  Two similar probation violations land an Olathe man with a hefty bond.

31 year old Christopher Day faces a $7,000 bond after violating two Riley County District Court probations.
