Riley County dispatch reports they received notification via e-mail late Saturday morning that 911 service for residents who have land lines in North Riley County is down until further notice. Dispatch says that residents in that area can still access 911 by cell phone for emergencies only. Authorities are working to restore land line service in that area as soon as possible.
