    Incidents

    A recent store inventory provided a suspicion that led to a report of shoplifting.

    Target Employee, Heath Needham (28), reported $1,030 worth of items were taken from the store.  During a recent inventory, four TV’s appeared to be missing.  When reviewing the surveillance tapes, it was discovered that two suspects had stolen the TVs on the 25th of April.

    The suspects managed to throw one Apex 26″ TV, two Samsung 22″ LED TV’s and one Samsung 26″ LED TV into a cart and walked out the front door.

    An early morning tirade leaves a fraternity with $1,300 in damage.

    Sometime around 2 o’clock A.M. yesterday (Tuesday), an incident of criminal damage took place at Alpha Tau Omega.   Jared Caunley (21) reported a glass door and cement wall were spray painted.  A brick was also thrown through the front window.

    The suspect is unknown and RCPD are further investigating the case.

    An untrustworthy friend leaves a Fort Riley soldier with almost a $2,400 loss.

    22 year old Jonathon Boyles reported a stolen wedding ring from a Garden Way apartment.  The theft was said to have taken place sometime between April 1st and April 19th.

    Boyles reports his friend was holding the 10 K white gold engagement ring for him at his apartment and the friend pawned it without permission.

    What was meant to be started as an innocent small fire, soon turned it to an arson case.

    Four unknown juveniles started a small outdoor fire in the 400 block of Aiport Road sometime on the 22nd of April.

    When confronted, the juveniles ran and fled the scene.

    Rural fire investigated the incident and filed a police report.  There is an unknown loss at this time.

    A theft from a library leaves one KSU student with no laptop.

    Around 11:15 a.m. Monday, an $1,000 laptop was taken from Hale Library.

    The suspect and the victim are unknown at this time.
