The Defense Authorization Bill is still being mulled over by officials in Washington D.C.
John Armbrust, the Kansas Governor’s Military Council Executive Director, says the bill has already been cleared by Congressional representatives. Components of the bill include a continued hold on raises for civilian workers, and a 1.7% pay raise for military personnel.
According to Armbrust, the house and senate also have different intentions for the bill involving Tri-Care fees and Pharmacy co-pays.
