Riley County police have released a new photo of the suspect in the robbery of the Casey’s General Store in Ogden.

The picture is shown below.  Police say the incident occurred on June 11 at about 02:10 am in the Ogden store located on 329 Riley Avenue.

A suspect wearing a colored scarf or mask over his face, and wire-frame glasses entered the store and when he spoke to the two female clerks used “Ma’am” and “please” to get them to come to the counter .  Police say the suspect then told them he had a weapon and demanded money before departing the store.

After the robbery the suspect was seen running east and then north.  Police say the suspect is a white male somewhere between 5′ 7″ and 5′ 10 ” in height, with a skinny build, and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans at the time of the crime.  The Riley County Police Department cautions the public and say the suspect is to be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone has any information they can contact Riley County Crime Stoppers at 785-539-7777, or 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
