An accident caused a Pontiac Grand Am to end up in a farm field upside down. Jeremy Benton, 22, was driving his black 2000, Pontiac Grand Am on Zeandale Rd. Saturday. Around 7 p.m., Benton was traveling east at an excessive speed and loss control of his vehicle, sending it off the road and rolling over multiple times before landing in a farm field off the side of the road.
Benton was transported to Mercy Regional Health Center by Riley County EMS for multiple lacerations and possible head injury. He was treated and released.
