    K-State men’s basketball schedule announced

    0
By KMAN Staff on July 31, 2012 K-State Sports

Even though many of the highlights had already been announced, K-State officially released their 2012-13 men’s basketball non-conference schedule on Tuesday.  The Cats will play in the preseason NIT with regional games at Bramlage Coliseum on November 12th & 13th.  If K-State survives the regional, they take the court for two games at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 21st & 23rd.  ESPN2 will televise the Cats on consecutive Saturdays in December, against Gonzaga in Seattle on December 15th, and Florida at the Sprint Center in KC on December 22nd.  K-State will open the campaign with exhibition games on October 30th against Washburn and Emporia State on November 4th.  North Dakota is the first regular season opponent for the Cats on November 9th.

The Big 12 Conference will release the league schedule at a later date.  As announced last week, K-State will play Big Monday games at Kansas on February 11th & host Bob Huggins and West Virginia on February 18th.
