Pullen will not play Wed., but scores 23 on day 2 of NBA Summer League

K-State’s all-time leading scorer continues to thrive with the Philadelphia 76ers during the week-long NBA Summer League in Orlando.  Jacob Pullen paced the 76ers with 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including 4-of-7 from three point range in a 84-80 loss to the Utah Jazz on Tuesday morning. Pullen notched 15 points in a 6 point loss to the Indiana Pacers on Monday.

But according to the 76ers, Pullen will not play in the summer league on Wednesday afternoon against the Brooklyn Nets.  Team officials say Pullen has a sprained right foot and ankle.  The matchup between the 76ers and Nets would’ve had a Sunflower State flavor, with Pullen and former Kansas guard Tyshawn Taylor, who Brooklyn took in the 2nd round of last month’s NBA Draft.
