K-State will head to Las Vegas for the World Vision Invitational, which includes Notre Dame, who played in the last two national title games, Texas A&M, the 2011 national champs and a former Big 12 member, plus traditional power Old Dominion.

K-State begins Big 12 play on Wednesday, January 2nd at Allen Field House against the Kansas Jayhawks.  TCU and West Virginia will make their first trips to Bramlage on consecutive Saturdays, January 5th and 12th.  The Cats will close out their Big 12 schedule on Monday, March 4th at defending NCAA champ Baylor.  For the first time, the Big 12 women’s tournament will be in a different location and date than the men.  The women will be in Dallas at the American Airlines Center from March 8th-11th, while the men return to KC at the Sprint Center from March 13th thru the 16th.

The K-State women’s season opens up November 1st with an exhibition game against Fort Hays State.  The first regular season game is November 9th against Idaho State.
