At the intersection of Tuttle Creek Boulevard and Kimble Ave, a two car collision sent one person to the hospital.
At about 7:14 pm on Friday, Aug 17th, Luke Hall (21), of the 800 block of Church Ave, was driving north on Tuttle Creek Boulevard and ran a red light. At the same time, Karen Rodriguez (24) of the 2500 block of Brockman was driving westbound through the intersection to Kimble Ave when her vehicle was struck by Hall.
Part of the roadway was shut down for cleanup, but was reopend shortly after.
Rodriguez was transported to Mercy Health Center for neck pain. Ryan Marchena (2) was also transported, but no injuries were reported for him.
Hall was cited for failure to stop at a stop light.
