Defending national champion North Dakota State is the preseason pick to win the Missouri Valley Football Conference title this season, with Northern Iowa tabbed second.
Former K-State offensive lineman Eric Wolford is in his third year as head coach at Youngstown State, and his Penguins are picked third in the Valley. Youngstown State has gone from three wins in 2010 to six wins a year ago, including a victory at North Dakota State.
