FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) Tony Gonzalez took note of the first game as soon as the NFL schedule came out. How could he not? One of the greatest tight ends in NFL history spent much of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs, who just happen to be the opener Sunday for his current squad, the Atlanta Falcons. This is certainly an appropriate way to begin what Gonzalez believes will likely be his final season. He says it’s going to be special facing his former team at Arrowhead Stadium, where he starred for a dozen years. And, he adds, “It’s going to be a little weird too, looking up and being in a different locker room.” The Falcons know Gonzalez is pumped up but they expect him to be all business in the game.
