Kaitlynn Pelger had 19 kills as #19 K-State beat top 20 opponents in back-to-back matches, this time in straight sets over #20 Dayton, 25-23, 25-20, 25-15.  The Cats swept the Flyers just 18 hours after beating #10 Minnesota in five sets on Friday night.  The Golden Gophers have already knocked Big 12 favorite Texas in Austin.  K-State won their third tournament of the season at the Golden Hurricane Classic at Tulsa.  Pelger was named the tourney MVP, while Kathleen Ludwig and Kaitlyn Donahue also made the all-tournament team.  In the match against Dayton, Lilla Porubek added 9 kills, Alex Muff had 7 kills, and Ludwig totaled six.  Donahue had her fourth double-double of the season with 49 assists an 10 digs.  Kuulei Kabalis led the Cats with 13 digs.

K-State enters Big 12 play with an undefeated record of 12-0 as they’ll travel to Oklahoma for a 7:00pm first serve on Wednesday night.  The Standard Plumbing, Heating & Air pregame show will start at 6:30pm on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN with Rob Voelker.
