    K-State Volleyball now 6-0 after sweep of Syracuse

    Following victories over Denver and host Creighton, the 21st-ranked Kansas State Volleyball team made quick work of Syracuse in the Championship match of the Bluejay Invitational Saturday evening in Omaha with a straight sets 25-17, 25-14, 25-16 win over the Orange.

    K-State sweeps its second straight tournament after winning the Varney’s Invitational to open the season last weekend in Manhattan with wins over UC-Irvine, Oakland and Oregon State.

    The Wildcats will now return home for a stretch of three matches in four days at Ahearn Fieldhouse. Wednesday Missouri State comes to town followed on Thursday by Saint Mary’s and on Saturday by Utah State. First serve for the matches against Missouri State and Utah State is set for 6 p.m. while the match against Saint Mary’s starts at 7 p.m.
