    K-State volleyball sweeps Bears, now 7-0

    Kaitlynn Pelger had a double-double with 11 kills and 10 blocks as the K-State volleyball team swept Missouri State 25-19, 25-22, 25-15 on Wednesday night at Ahearn Fieldhouse.  The Cats blocked the fifth-most balls in a three-set match in school history with 16, as Alex Muff added six stuffs.  Muff and Lilla Porubek each added eight kills, while Caitlyn Donahue dished out 36 assists.  The Bears (3-5) were led by 10 kills from Christine McCarthy.

    K-State (7-0) will play two more matches this week at home.  St. Mary’s (CA) will matchup with the Cats at 7:00pm on Thursday night, with the Standard Plumbing, Heating & Air pregame show at 6:30 on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN.  K-State will also face Utah State at 6:00pm on Saturday with a 5:30 airtime on KMAN.
