LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) The University of Kansas is scheduled to host a naturalization ceremony Monday at the Dole Institute of Politics.
About 100 prospective U.S. citizens are expected to attend the event Monday afternoon.
The Lawrence Journal-World reports that the ceremony is an annual event and will be presided over by U.S. Judge John W. Lungstrum.
University of Kansas Provost Jeffrey Vitter and Kansas business school dean Neeli Bendapudi will also be on hand to greet the new citizens.
