During their meeting on Monday, the Pottawatomie County Commission opened the eight bids that were made on the new EMS building.
County Administrator Robert Reece read each bid out to commissioners.
The commission had two different options available for bid, one of wood construction, the other metal. This was to give options as to the best way to proceed.
Other items on the agenda included proclaiming September as Mental Health Recovery Month, an update on the law enforcement center and then special assessments for Whispering Meadows along with the Elbo Creek Estates.
The Pottawatomie County Commissioners also met with Wabaunsee officials in a joint meeting.
