The evacuation is over and people are being allowed back into their apartments as the welfare check was complete.
The Riley County Police Department evacuated an apartment complex on Saturday in the Amherst area for a welfare check on an individual.
At the time, officers were not sure whether the individual has a firearm or not, which was the reason for the evacuation.
No incidents occurred.
