K-State served 11 aces in their first ever meeting with TCU, led by four aces from setter Caitlyn Donahue.  The #14 Cats defeated the unranked Horned Frogs in straight sets, 25-20, 25-18, 25-19 at the University Rec Center in Fort Worth on Saturday afternoon.  Kaitlynn Pelger led K-State (17-2, 4-2 Big 12) with 12 kills, but went down in the 3rd set with an ankle injury.  Lilla Porubek pounded out 11 kills, while Alex Muff posted 10 kills and 6 blocks.  Donahue dished out 34 assists to tie for 5th all-time in a career as a Wildcat, and also led the team in digs with 12. TCU (13-6, 2-4 Big 12) was paced by 10 kills from Sloane Sunstrum.

#14 K-State next will meet #21 Kansas in Lawrence on Wednesday night at 6:30pm for the first of two Sunflower Showdowns this season.  The Standard Plumbing, Heating & Air pregame show will begin at 6:00 on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN.
