    K-State bounces back with sweep over TCU

    Kaitlynn Pelger had 15 kills as K-State broke a two-match losing streak on Saturday afternoon at Ahearn Fieldhouse with a straight-sets victory over TCU, 25-17, 25-16, 26-24.  The Cats had dropped consecutive matches at Texas on November 2nd, and this past Wednesday to rival Kansas.  Senior setter Caitlyn Donahue led a K-State offensive effort with 40 assists, as the Wildcats hit .315.  Alex Muff added 9 kills, and hit .429.  Courtney Traxson led K-State (21-5, 8-5 Big 12) with two solo blocks, while Tristan McCarty had 12 digs.  TCU (14-11, 3-9 Big 12) was led by 13 kills from Yvonne Igodan.

    K-State will play a nationally televised match on Wednesday night at Iowa State.  The match will have an early start time of 5:00pm on ESPNU.  Listen for the Standard Plumbing, Heating & Air pregame show at 4:30 on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN.
