    MCC volleyball players receive all-American honors

    The Manhattan Christian College volleyball team received several awards at the NCCAA National Awards Banquet in Kissimmee, Florida.  Head Coach Lauren Sanders was named the National Coach of the Year.  Coach Sanders had picked up her 200th career victory in the Regional Tournament at the end of October.   Sanders was selected from among the eight nominees from across the nation.  Kylie Rupe was one of 12 players named 1st Team All-American and Alyssa Strain and Paige Mortensen were named 2nd Team All-American.
