    Chapman becomes fifth Wildcat to play in All-Star Game

    The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl All-Star Game has selected Kansas State Defensive Back Allen Chapman to play in its event on Thursday, January 17 at the Home Depot Center in suburban Los Angeles. Chapman finished the 2012 season with 57 tackles, 10 passes defended and five interceptions including three in one game against Oklahoma State in helping lead the Wildcats to the Big 12 Championship and an appearance in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

    Chapman who is from San Francisco will play in the game which kicks off at 5 p.m. CST on Thursday, January 17 and will televised on ESPN 2.

    Chapman is the fifth member of the Wildcats playing in Postseason All-Star Competition. Quarterback Collin Klein and Defensive Back Nigel Malone have been selected to play in the East-West Shrine Game on January 19 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. and Linebacker Arthur Brown and Wide Receiver Chris Harper will compete in the Senior Bowl on January 26 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala.
